การแสดงนี้เป็นผลงานความร่วมมือของนักเชิดหุ่นและนักแสดงละครใบ้ชาวไทยที่นำเอาสิ่งของรอบตัวมาพลิกแพลง เปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทแล้วประกอบร่างใหม่ เป็นเรื่องราวแห่งจินตนาการที่พร้อมสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับบรรดาพ่อแม่ผู้ปกครอง และ ชวนครอบครัวมาใช้เวลาด้วยกัน

A Journey of Captain Mike is an adventure story of who else, but the captain himself! As he courageously sets sail on this beloved boat into the wild ocean on the quest to find the end of the horizon. Along his extraordinary journey, he meets many strange creatures, and makes friends with many! Come along to cheer him on!

This delightful performance is a combination of mime, objects theatre and comedy devised by this fun loving trio artists from Thailand. They creatively use household items and everyday objects to make up the story with the will to lead children and adults alike to the world of limitless imagination and creativity. A Journey of Captain Mike will inspire everyone to see ordinary objects in a new light and discover the magic in the mundane .

คณะละครเฉพาะกิจ ที่รวม 3 นักแสดงจาก Puppets by Jae และ Talent Show Theatre มาร่วมสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในรูปแบบ Object Theatre โดยใช้ concept ที่ว่า ใครๆ ก็สามารถหยิบสิ่งของรอบตัวมาสร้างเรื่องราวของตัวเองได้ จึงเน้นเลือกใช้สิ่งของที่หาง่าย อยู่ใกล้ตัวมาใช้ในการแสดงและทุกคนในครอบครัวสามารถเล่นด้วยกันได้

พับเพ็ททูไมม์ เคยได้รับรางวัล การแสดงสำหรับเด็กและเยาวชน ยอดเยี่ยมจาก BTF 2018

 

สิริกาญจน์ บรรจงทัด (แจ๋)
เริ่มต้นอาชีพนักละครหุ่นในปี 2002 ก่อตั้งกลุ่ม Puppets by Jae ในปี 2017 ศึกษาต่อและได้รับทุนจาก ACC เป็นศิลปินในพำนักที่อเมริกาเพื่อศึกษาเพิ่มเติมด้านละครหุ่นโดยเฉพาะ ปัจจุบันทำงานกับกลุ่ม Puppet & Its Double (Taiwan) เคยได้รับรางวัล Best Director Award จาก World Puppet Carnival 2012 (คาซัคสถาน)

 

ณัฐพล คุ้มเมธา (ธา) และ นัฏฐพร ตันฮะฮวด (เมย์) จากคณะ Talent Show Theatre2 นักแสดงละครใบ้ ที่มีความสนใจด้าน Object Theatre ก่อตั้งกลุ่มในปี 2020 มีผลงานการแสดงมากมายได้เข้าร่วมเทศกาลทั้งในเอเชียและยุโรป ธาเคยได้รับรางวัล นักแสดงชายยอดเยี่ยม จาก BTF 2017 ส่วนเมย์เป็นผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังโปรเจคการแสดงแบบออนไลน์ที่ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมหลายเทศกาลในประเทศอเมริกา

PuppetoMime

PuppetoMime is an occasional theatre company consisting of 3 artists from Puppets by Jae and Talent Show Theatre. They join forces to create object-led theatre. Under the concept that one could create their own stories simply with their daily objects, PuppetoMime emphasises on crafting simple objects around them to use in their creations. They strive to create shows that everyone can enjoy, no matter what age they are.

PuppetoMime received an award for their Best Children and Youth Performances from the 2018 Bangkok Theatre Festival (BTF).

Sirikarn Banjongtad (Jae)
Beginning her career in the Puppet Theatre in 2002 and started her own theatre company, Puppets by Jae in 2017, she went on to further her studies and received funding from the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) to become an artist in residence in the United States of America, specialising in puppet theatre. She received the Best Director Award from World Puppet Carnival 2012 (Kazakhstan) and is currently working for Puppet & Its Double (Taiwan).

With an interest in object theatre which led to the launch of their own theatre company, Talent Show Theatre, in 2020, the two talented Mime artists have produced a tremendous amount of performances which were selected into umpteen lineups of festivals both in Asia and Europe. Ta was awarded Best Actor at the Bangkok Theatre Festival (BTF) 2017; May is behind several online projects that were parts of multiple festivals in the United States of America.
