เครือข่ายละครเพื่อเด็กและเยาวชนภาคพื้นเอเชีย (Asian Theatre for Young Audiences Network/ ATYA Network) ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2559 โดย ACO โอกินาวา และ เจแปนฟาวน์เดชัน เอเชียเซ็นเตอร์ เครือข่ายนี้ครอบคลุมบุคลากรด้านศิลปะการแสดง นักการศึกษา โปรดิวเซอร์ และศิลปินที่สร้างสรรค์ละครสำหรับผู้ชมเด็กและเยาวชนในเอเชียตะวันออก เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระยะยาวระหว่างคนทำงาน มุ่งเน้นให้เกิดความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ และส่งเสริมการเติบโตของกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวกับการละครเพื่อเด็กและเยาวชน (Theatre for Young Audiences – TYA) ในเอเชียและต่างประเทศ

ปี 2561 การประชุมครั้งแรกของเครือข่ายนี้จัดขึ้นในกรุงเทพฯ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเทศกาลละครนานาชาติสำหรับเด็กและเยาวชนกรุงเทพฯ ครั้งที่ 2 (BICT Fest 2018) เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรทางศิลปะและชุมชน TYA แลกเปลี่ยน และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือของคนทำงานในเอเชียและภูมิภาคอื่น ๆ

ปัญหาโรคระบาดที่ผ่านมา รวมกับปัจจัยทางการเมืองระดับโลก และปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมได้ส่งผลกระทบต่อพัฒนาการของเด็กๆ ทั่วโลก ทั้งการลดลงของพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์และโอกาสในการเรียนรู้ โอกาสในการเข้าสังคม ไปจนถึงสุขภาวะทางร่างกายและจิตใจของเด็กๆ ศิลปิน และผู้ที่ทำงาน TYA จึงโต้ตอบสถานการณ์นี้โดยมุ่งหาวิธีการใหม่ๆ ในการสร้างผลงานเพื่อเด็กและร่วมกับเด็กๆ เพื่อรักษาไว้ซึ่งความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และเกื้อหนุนพัฒนาการของพวกเขา

ปีนี้ เราจึงจัดการประชุม ATYA Meeting ครั้งที่ 2 ขึ้นที่กรุงเทพฯ อีกครั้ง ภายใต้หัวข้อหลัก “แนวโน้มและความเคลื่อนไหวในปัจจุบันของการละครเพื่อเด็กและเยาวชน (TYA) ในเอเชีย” เพื่อสำรวจประเด็นสำคัญต่างๆ เช่น การพัฒนาวงการอย่างยั่งยืน และพัฒนาการของ TYA ในเอเชีย สะท้อน รวบรวม และสำรวจความเป็นไปได้ที่นำไปสู่การก้าวไปข้างหน้าของวงการ โดยเน้นไปที่ “สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน” และ “สิ่งที่จะเกิดขึ้นต่อไป” ในทวีปเอเชีย

การประชุมนี้จะจัดขึ้น 3 วันต่อเนื่องกัน โดยกำหนดการประกอบไปด้วย การอภิปรายจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ การสนทนาโต๊ะกลม และการเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่เรียนรู้เชิงสร้างสรรค์ต่างๆ จำนวนผู้เข้าร่วมกระบวนการที่ตั้งเป้าไว้คือ 50 คน จากกว่า 10 ประเทศ ทั้งเอเชียและยุโรป เช่น ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ ไต้หวัน ฮ่องกง เวียดนาม อินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ มาเลเซีย กัมพูชา สิงคโปร์ ลาว ออสเตรเลีย สก็อตแลนด์ แคนาดา และประเทศไทย

ในการประชุม 3 วันนี้ จะมีการอภิปรายโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญใน 2 หัวข้อ การสนทนาโต๊ะกลม 2 ครั้ง การเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่เรียนรู้เชิงสร้างสรรค์ในกรุงเทพฯ 3 แห่ง และ กิจกรรมพิเศษ – BICT Debut และ ช่วงฟรีสไตล์กับเครือข่าย TYA

 

การประชุมในปีนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนหลักจาก เจแปนฟาวน์เดชั่น กรุงเทพฯ สํานักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ สสปน. และ มูลนิธิศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมแห่งชาติ ไต้หวัน

The Asian Theatre for Young Audiences (ATYA) Network was established in 2016 by ACO Okinawa and the Japan Foundation Asia Center. This network comprises practitioners, educators, producers, and artists focusing on creating theatre for young audiences in the East Asian Region. Its aim is to foster long-term relationships among professionals in the field, encouraging international collaboration and contributing to the growth of TYA activities in Asia and beyond.

 

In 2018, the first ATYA Network Meeting was held in Bangkok as part of BICT Fest 2018 to enhance the capacity of arts personnel and TYA community, exchange and foster international collaboration among practitioners in Asia and beyond.

 

In the recent years, pandemic, coupled with global politics and environmental issues, has influenced children’s development worldwide, affecting their creative and learning spaces, opportunities for socialisation, as well as their health and well-being. In response, artists and practitioners are continuing to find innovative ways to create works for and with them to sustain creativity and support their development.

 

This year, therefore, BICT Fest decided to organize the 2nd Meeting under the theme “Current Trends & Movements in Asian TYA”, exploring key topics including sustainable growth and development of TYA in Asia to reflect, consolidate, and explore possibilities for the sector moving forward. This meeting will focus on “what now” and “what next” in Asia.

The meeting consists of a 3-day delegates programme including panel & roundtable discussions and visits to learning spaces. We expect 50 participants from over 10 countries from Asia and Europe including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Laos, Australia, UK, Canada and Thailand.

 

During the 3-day meeting, there will be 2 panel discussions, 2 roundtables, a visit to 3 creative learning spaces in Bangkok and our special activities – BICT Debut and Networking Session.

This programme is supported by  the Japan Foundation, Bangkok and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organisation) or TCEB, and National Culture and Arts Foundation, Taiwan

Why Community Theatre Matters in Southeast Asia?

ความสำคัญของละครชุมชนในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

กว่า 50 ปีที่ผ่านมา คอมมิวนิตี้เธียเตอร์ หรือละครชุมชนซึ่งเป็นรูปแบบของศิลปะที่มีชีวิตชีวานั้น ได้เติบโต ฝังรากลึกในจิตวิญญาณ ผ่านการสนับสนุนและพัฒนา และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในกระบวนการทำงานของศิลปินทั่วทั้งภูมิภาค ท่ามกลางทัศนคติทางสังคมและการเมืองอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ละครชุมชนเป็นกำลังสำคัญสำหรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม การสร้างอำนาจต่อรอง และการแสดงออกทางวัฒนธรรม

 

ในขณะเดียวกัน สิ่งท้าทายระดับโลกในช่วงที่ผ่านมา คือโรคระบาดครั้งใหญ่ ทำให้เราต้องย้อนคิดถึงความจำเป็นของละครชุมชน จุดประกายความสนใจและกระตุ้นการพัฒนาของการละครชุมชนที่มีผลต่อพลวัตทางสังคมนี้อีกครั้ง มาร่วมกันกับเราเพื่อสำรวจผลกระทบ ความเชื่อมโยงกับสังคม และความสามารถในการปรับตัวของโครงการละครเพื่อชุมชนในชุมชนการละครภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

Over the past 50 years, community theatre as a vibrant art form has thrived, deeply rooted in the spirit, advocacy and traditional practices of artists across the region. Amidst the unique socio-political landscape of Southeast Asia, community theatre has emerged as a prominent force for social change, empowerment, and cultural expression.

 

In light of recent global challenges, the pandemic has prompted a rethinking of the significance of community theatre, igniting a renewed interest and development in this dynamic field. Join us as we explore the impact, relevance, and resilience of community theatre projects in Southeast Asia.

กิจกรรมใหม่ในการประชุมที่จะเปิดพื้นที่ให้กลุ่มละครและศิลปินที่สร้างสรรค์การแสดงสำหรับเด็กและเยาวชนในไทยและเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมถึงในทวีปเอเชีย ได้นำเสนอไอเดียผลงานของตัวเองเป็นเวลา 8 นาทีพร้อมเข้าร่วม Networking Session กับกลุ่มผู้เข้าร่วมนานาชาติของเทศกาลที่ประกอบไปด้วยผู้จัดโปรแกรมเทศกาลระดับนานาชาติ โปรดิวเซอร์ และศิลปินจากทั่วโลก 

A new activity taking place during the meeting, providing an opportunity for TYA companies and artists who create performances for children and young audiences in Thailand, Southeast Asia, as well as across Asia, to present ideas about their works for 8 minutes and participate in a Networking Session with international participants, including international festivals’ programmers, producers, and artists from around the world!

Our Cultural Playground: Reflections and Stories

Through a series of activities and provocations, participants will embark on a reflective journey and engage in lively dialogue with fellow delegates to revisit their childhoods. Explore why cultures, stories, games, and memories matter and how they shape our understanding of children and childhood, and impact our personal lives and professional practice.
