Caleb Lee Ph.D

Dr Caleb Lee is a lecturer in drama at the University of Exeter, a creative producer, and a critic. His specialisation lies in theatre for young audiences, musical theatre, new voices and stories, with a particular focus on those from the global majority. He is also Co-Artistic Director of Five Stones Theatre – an international collective creating dance and theatrical experiences for children and young people that are ‘a little different’. His work cuts across the creative industries, applied performances and digital technologies, with interests in popular culture, social change and young people’s health and wellbeing. He is currently leading a global advocacy project on leadership diversity in the Theatre for Young Audiences sector (ASSITEJ).
