The workshop is connected to the themes of the performance Tree Trees Tres and offers families the opportunity to experience the ideas of balance and cooperation through their own bodies.

Participants will begin by warming up and becoming familiar with balance through movement games. They will then move on to partner balancing activities, working together in pairs to explore balance and coordination. Finally, participants will take part in balancing games using wooden boards of different sizes. Throughout the workshop, participants will explore body coordination, develop trust, and learn to work together with their partner.

About the artist

64J (Joule) 64J represents the amount of energy required to move a 64kg object by 1 meter per second for 1 meter, and it’s also the unchanged weight of the representative Park Sang-hyun. The question of how to efficiently and effectively utilize ’64J of work = movement’ when creating a performance centered around the body became the starting point.

The group is breaking down various constraints of performances and incorporating everyday objects into the performance with unfamiliar sensations rather than the conventional ones. They continue to create based on main disciplines such as slack wire and balance.
